4 Day Preschool Classes – Four/Five-Year-Old Programs

4 Day Preschool Program
Monday through Thursday
8:50 – 11:20 a.m.
* Children must be four years of age by August 31st
* Curriculum designed for younger four year olds

4 Day Pre-Kindergarten Program (Afternoon Class)
Monday through Thursday
12:00 – 2:30 p.m.
* Children must be four or five years of age by August 31st
* Curriculum designed for older four year olds and five year olds

Curriculum:
The curriculum identifies goals in the following areas of development:

Social:
To help the children to feel comfortable in school, trust their new environment, make friends and feel they are a part of a group.
Emotional:
To help the children to experience pride and self-confidence, develop independence and self-confidence, develop independence and self-control, and have a positive attitude toward life.
Cognitive:
To help the children to become confident learners by letting them try out their own ideas and experience success, and by helping them acquire learning skills such as the ability to solve problems, ask questions, and use words to describe their ideas, observations and feelings.
Physical:
To help the children to increase their large and small muscle skills and feel confident about what their bodies can do.
