PhD Required Documents

Should submit a relief certificate at the time of admission
Should submit one page write-up about the research topic.
Must belong to any one of the following category:
Industry/organization having R& D facilities and recognized by DST, GoI or IIT Madras
National Laboratories
Reputed Universities / Colleges
Public sector / Private sector / Government Departments engaged in research/analysis jobs of their executives in the case of management area.

Qualifications

Engineering

Applicants with a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology with a good academic record

A valid GATE score in the relevant area

Sciences

1. Master’s degree in Sciences with a good academic record and having a valid GATE score

2. Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology are eligible with a good academic record.


Humanitites and Social Sciences

Master’s degree in an eligible discipline with a good academic record or equivalent and having a valid GATE score

Management

Masters degree or equivalent PG Diploma or Associateship in a relevant discipline, and a Bachelor’s degree with a good academic record

Qualifying in national level examinations such as JMET /CAT /XAT /MAT /ATMA /GATE /UGC or CSIR / NET / JRF or Lectureship or equivalent or international level post graduate admission examination such as GMAT / GRE or equivalent.
