Indian Forest Service Examination is being conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Here are the details of this exam:

Eligibility:
The applicant should hold A Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised university or equivalent.

Age-limits
21-30 Years on 1st July of the year of examination

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Applicants age must not less than 18 years and must not more than 30 years for Posts 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 and 36 years for Post 6

The Upper age limit is 35 years for Posts 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and 41 years for Post 6 in case of SC/ ST & BC Applicants

Educational Qualification:

Applicants should possess Bachelor’s degree in Botany or Forestry or Horticulture or Zoology or Physics or Chemistry or Agriculture as a subject or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Chemical or Mathematics or Statistics or Geology or Mechanical or Civil Engineering for Post 1,

Applicants should Passed in Intermediate examination for Post 2,

Applicants should Passed in 10th Class for Posts 3, 4 & 5

Applicants should possess trade certificate of draftsman (Civil) trade i.e., I.T.I in the state or its equivalent examination for Post 6.

Selection Process:

Applicants get selected based on performance in Physical Measurements, Written exam ,Certificate verification followed by Walking Test & Medical exam
