New York Film Academy - School of Film and Acting (NYFA) is a for-profit film school and acting school based in New York City. It was established in 1992 by Jerry Sherlock. Master of Fine Arts Applicants must submit the following: Resume Narrative Statement If native language is other than English then require Proof of English proficiency (such as TOEFL or IELTS score) Supporting Materials Official Transcript Two Letters of Recommendation $100 Non-Refundable Application Fee English Proficiency Requirement Since all classes at the New York Film Academy are conducted in English, students must be able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
