(Bachelor of Dental Surgery): It is a first professional degree programme in dentistry. Duration: 4 years 3. B. H. M. S.- Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery. Duration: 5.5 years 4. B. A. M. S. - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. Duration: 5.5 years 5. M.D. - Doctor of Medicine Duration: 3 years 6. M.S. - Master of Surgery. Duration: 3 years 7. D.M : This is a doctrate degree and is equivalent to a PhD degree. Duration: 2-3 Years 8. M.Ch.: The M.Ch degree is the highest degree under the faculty of medicine. Duration: 2 Years 9.
