Re: Fee Challan for UGC NET
Fee and Mode of Payment of Union Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is as follows: For payment by Bank challan: Candidates are required to pay the application fee by e-challan or debit/credit card. One is required to select a bank to deposit the application fee through e-challan mode. As soon as one selects it, an e-challan will be generated containing specific details of the one along with the amount to be paid. One has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest branch of the selected bank to make the payment. After the confirmation of fee deposited from the bank, one is able to print the confirmation page. Payment by Debit/Credit Card: One is required to select the 'debit/credit card' option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of fee. Credit card: 1.20% of the exam fee plus the service tax as applicable Debit card: 0.75% of exam fee plus the service tax as applicable Application fee: One belonging to the General Category is required to pay an application fee of Rs 600. Those belonging to the OBC category should pay Rs 300 Those belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category are required to pay only Rs 150. One needs to check the status of fee payment on the CBSE website and if the status is 'OK' the candidate need to take the printout of the confirmation page. In case, the fee payment status is not 'OK' one is advised the following: If the fee is paid through e-challan by depositing cash in the bank, one should contact immediately the concerned bank to update fee status on the website. If the fee is paid through credit/debit card and the status is not OK, it means the transaction is cancelled and the amount is refunded to the concerned credit/debit card within a week. One has to pay the fee once again. |
