The Faculty Of Social Sciences is one of the important faculties in Osmania University. The Osmania University is established 12 different Faculties and is composed of different departments or disciplines, in order to offer courses in various subjects with ability and effectively.

The Faculty of Social Sciences was carved out of the Faculty of Arts in the year 1964 and composed of 7 Departments presently offering 3 UG courses (15 Combinations), 8 PG Courses, 8 M.Phil., and Ph. D., Programs.
