The Department was established in 1986, was the first institute in Punjab to start the five years integrated B.Arch. Degree course. It is the oldest and premier institute in the region.

The faculty of the Department is active both on academic as well as professional front.

Courses:-
Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.)
It is a 5 years course comprising 10 semesters.

The total available seats are 80 in which 85% of the total sanctioned seats in B. Arch. are
reserved for the natives of Punjab and other 15% for the candidates of other states of
India.

Eligibility:-
The candidate should be 10+2 with 50% marks in Mathematics as a compulsory subject
from a recognized Board of Education or 3 years Diploma in any stream of Engineering
with 50%.
