The Retina Foundation and Aso Palov Eye Hospital are devoted to the health and well being of eyes. Research and Training in ophthalmology are the other missions of the Foundation.

Training and Fellowships for Post Graduates

Retina Foundation conducts 3 months and 2 year fellowship programmes in Vitreo Retinal Surgery. More than 180 vitreo retinal fellows have been trained since 1976 from India and abroad.

Vitreo Retinal Fellowship

MS/MD/DNB (Ophthalmology)

Selection
Through interview /observership

Fellow, National Board Of Examination (FNB) Retina and Vitreous

Duration 2 years

Eligibility
Students with DNB/MD/MS qualification in the ophthalmology are eligible ,with preference to DNB students.

Selection
Selection of the Candidate is based on an entrance test conducted by the National Board Of Examinations around May-June every year.

IFOS/ICO International Fellowship (ONLY For Outside India/International Candidates)

Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery

Clinical and Research Fellowship- 6 months
