If your preparation is good then you can crack both CAT and GATE. Both CAT and GATE exam are different from each other. CAT is for admission to MBA course where as GATE is the entrance exam for admission in M.Tech course. Here I am providing you the exam pattern of both the exams. CAT exam pattern- CAT will be of two sections: The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; The second section will focus on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. The examination will be for 170 minutes. CAT Exam Syllabus There is no defined syllabus for the CAT exam. Mainly, the questions are asked from Quantitative Aptitude Reading Comprehension & Verbal Ability and Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency GATE exam pattern Gate exam will be conducted in online mode, which will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) Total Numbers of Question: 65 Total Marks of GATE Exam 2015: 100 Total Duration: 3 hours General Aptitude (GA): 10 questions of 15 Marks Engineering Mathematics: 15 Marks Technical Questions (subject of the paper): 70 Marks Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): Objective questions carrying 1 or 2 marks Numerical Answer Questions: Each question of 1 or 2 marks in all papers and sections |
