As you want to join Indian air force for doing technical job ,so there are various modes of entries into IAF as an engineer , like CDS,UES, and SSC , here I am providing brief info of all three:


CDS or combined defence service examination,

This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Notification for which has been scheduled to release in employment news paper time to time:

Eligibility criteria:

You must have passed there bachelor degree with at least 60% aggregate, who are in there final year can also apply for it.

UES or University entry scheme,
This exam is ment for both male & female does who have acquire there first university degree (bachelor).

SSC or short service commission
This exam especially for engineers for the service of 10 years which is extendable upto 14 years and later on permanent commission if required.
