ESI Corporation, Sub Regional Office Pune working for smooth operation and functioning of ESI Scheme in Western Maharahtra Region comprising Pune, Satara, Nashik, , Kolhapur, Sangli, and Solapur districts of Maharashtra.
The activities comprise implementation in co-ordination with the State Govt are:
• inspections
• surveys and enforcement
• collection of revenue
• administration of branch offices
• administration cash offices
• inspection offices
• delivery of cash benefits to the beneficiaries under the ESI Scheme.
There are about 23 branch offices including the regional office of ESIC pune.
