Employment News SBI Clerk

I am interested in joining bank sector and for this I am planning to give the SBI Clerk exam want details of this exam. Will you tell me what the eligibility and education qualification required to apply for this exam and also provide me important dates for this examination so that I prep well?

SBI Bank conducts various exams for the recruitment of candidates for the various posts.

SBI Clerk details:

Academic Qualification: Applicant should possess graduate degree in any stream from any recognized university.

Age limit for SBI: Your age should be in between 21-28 years to apply for clerk post and for PO Job must have in between 21 to 30 years.

SBI Clerk 2016 Exam Pattern for Question Paper

Questions will be objective type/multiple choices in nature.

For each question, 4-5 options would be given, out of which one would be correct.

Candidate has to mark the correct response to get the marks assigned for each question.

There are 5 sections in the question paper – (i) General Awareness (ii) General English (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) Reasoning Ability (v) Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge.

All the questions would be in Hindi and English except the English section.

Each section would be of 40 marks.

Total marks in the exam are 200.

Total time given to the candidate to attempt the questions is 135 minutes.

Candidate can surf between questions and sections as many times as he wants.

For each wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted.

For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given.

1st week of February 2016

Online registration of application form ends
3rd week of February 2016

Last date to reprint application form
3rd week of February 2016

Online fee payment
1st to 3rd week of February 2016

Offline fee payment
1st to 3rd week of February 2016

Admit card release
March 2016

Online written exam
April 2016

Result declaration
May 2016
