I have completed B.A History and now want to give TNPSC Group I exam so please tell me that am I eligible for this exam? What are the eligibility criteria for TNPSC Group I exam?

Yes, you are eligible for TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) Group 1. Graduates are eligible for this exam but some age limitations are there. Here I am giving you all details about eligibility criteria of TNPSC Group I exam.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

1. for all the posts except the post of Assistant Commissioner (C.T)
21 Years to 35 Years

2. Assistant Commissioner (C.T.)
21 Years to 35 Years


Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess a graduation degree of any of the University.


Physical Qualification:

• For Men: Must be not less than 165 cms in Height and not less than 86 cms round the chest on full inspiration and must have a chest expansion of not less than 5 cms on full inspiration

• For Women: Must be not less than 155 cms in Height.
