Re: Eligibility for NIT

NIT is National Institutes of Technology. It is a group of public engineering colleges of India. NITs offer degree courses at bachelors, masters, and doctorate levels in various branches of engineering and technology.

The eligibility criteria for NIT’s are:

1. 10+2 from a recognized board.

2. 10+2 must be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

3. % of marks should not be less than 50 in 10+2.this is the minimum % required for getting admission in NITs.

4. you must secure ranks upto 30000 in AIEEE (all india engineering entrance exam) which is conducted by CBSE (central board of secondary education).

In case if you still not get admission into NIT, then you can go for universities like: JNU, Jamia Millia, BITS, Lovely Professional University,.........; they also provide good education & placements and if you have got good percentage in qualifying exam, then some of these universities might give scholarship (based on percentage in qualifying exam) as well.
