Hello friends, I have done B.A. in Computer Applications and now I want to do MCA from Jadavpur university, can you give me some information about the eligibility criteria.

Hello, as you want information about the eligibility criteria for MCA course for Jadavpur University as you have done B.A. in computer applications.

Firstly, you have graduation degree under 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university.

The eligibility criteria for MCA course is for the general category is 60% marks

For SC and ST candidates are 55% marks

To get admission in a MCA course. you have to give an entrance exam known as JECA-MCA Entrance exam organized by West Bengal joint entrance examinations board.


Exam Date:-
The date of entrance exam is Saturday, 19th July 2014

Paper I:-Mathematics
Timings: 12.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M.

Paper II:- Apptitude test.
Timings:- 3.00 P.M.to 4.00 P.M.

The examination form for the MCA exam is filled online through the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board from 20June ,2014 to 2 July, 2014

The application charges for submitting the e-challan is Rs. 500.
