Eligibility for Lateral Entry Admission in GGSIP University

You want to take Lateral Entry Admission in GGSIP University after completing Diploma in IT with 60% marks, so yes you can take admission in GGSIP University, if you have completed your diploma from AICTE approved institute.

Eligibility Conditions:
A candidate must have three-years diploma in any of the branches of Engg./Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Diploma awarding institute which is recognized by AICTE.

For taking admission firstly you will have to give IPU common entrance test.

Paper Pattern of IPU CET:

The duration of exam will be 2.30 hours and language of question paper will be English.

Exam will have 3 sections, namely - Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.There will be 150 objective type questions in IPU CET and the total marks will be 600.

Every correctly answered question will bring a credit of 4 marks and every wrongly answered question will earn a negative credit of 1 mark as per the exam pattern of IPU CET.

There is no provision of Re - Checking or Re - Evaluation in IPU CET.
