Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts KCET every year in various regions of Karnataka for the admission in various institutes falling under its category. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with English. They must have Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Electronics / Computer Science/ Biology as an optional subject. They should attain a minimum of 45% aggregate in 10+2 for general category (40% for SC, ST, Category-1 and OBC). Exam pattern The total no of questions: 120 (60 per subject Duration for each paper: 70 minutes Marks per paper: 60 Questions type: Objective Each correct answer will be awarded one mark There is no negative marking. Syllabus; Karnataka CET Syllabus comprises of the questions from basic higher secondary exam of the Karnataka State Board. Karnataka CET will be based on the four subjects namely Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics. Here is the attachment for detailed syllabus: |
