Eligibility for IIT JEE after Diploma

Am i eligible for IIT JEE entrance exam after completing Diploma courses, please provide information???

Candidates who want lateral entry into an Engineering degree do not need to sit for JEE or any entrance exam.

Candidates should have completed Engineering Diploma programmes from AICTE-approved institutes with 45 percent to be eligible for the second year of a 4-year degree Engineering or Pharmacy and 5-year Architecture programme through lateral entry.

Such a candidate need not give any entrance examination.

Eligibility:
The candidate must have passed in final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.

Those appearing in class XII final or equivalent examination in may also appear in JEE Mains examination provisionally.

Candidates must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII.
