IIT-JEE stands for The Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination. It is an annual engineering college entrance examination conducted in India. In 2013 it was replaced by the two-phase Joint Entrance Examination.

JEE is a common exam for Undergraduate Engineering admissions in two stages which are:

JEE-Main: conducted by CBSE for admissions to the NITs, CFTIs. JEE Main is the first stage of the Joint entrance Examination, the two tier examination


JEE-Advanced

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed in final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.

Candidates must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII.

Candidates’ date of birth should be on or after October 1, 1990 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwD i.e 1985)

Candidates can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times.

Selection Procedure
Selection Procedure will be based on the All India Ranks calculated with the JEE main Scores and normalized marks of Class XII in the ratio 60:40
