Eligibility for GITAM

Hi buddy I am going to appear in GITAM Admission Test (GAT) and for the same would like to know its eligibility criteria so would you plz tell me about it ??

GITAM Admission Test (GAT) is conducted for admission to UG and PG technology & pharmacy courses at the three campuses GITAM University.

Eligibility
Students must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized educational board.

The qualifying examination should be passed with minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. For architecture and pharmacy course, the qualifying examination should be passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Application form filling starts from 11th November 2016

Last date of receipt of filled-in applications 31st March 2017

Online slot booking 9th to 13th April,2017

Downloading of e-hall tickets 9th April,2017

Examination date (CBT) 16th to 30th April,2017

Result announcement 5th May,2017

Counselling commences from Last week of May 2017


GITAM GAT (UGTP) Exam Pattern

Courses: It is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses like 4-years B.Tech, 6-years B.Tech + M.Tech, 5-years B.Arch and 4-years B.Pharm.


Number of Questions: The question paper will contain total 100 questions of maximum 300 marks.

Question Paper Type: All the questions are of objective type.

Number of Subjects: The questions will be asked from Physics (30 questions), Chemistry (30 questions), Mathematics/Biology subjects (40 questions).

Exam Mode: Online Exam (Computer Based Test).

Exam Duration: The duration of test will be 2 hours.

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded with 3 marks.

Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
