Eligibility for B.Com and Hotel Management.

I have passed 12th with 80% from Arts stream. Am I eligible to study B.Com or Hotel Management?

B.Com and Hotel Management both are good courses to pursue after completing 12th and you are eligible for both these courses, however there are some restrictions for B.Com which are discussed below.

B.Com is a UG level course of Commerce stream.
But as you have done 12th from Arts stream, you won’t be able to pursue B.Com(Hons.), but you can go for B.Com and in that also you have to study 2 additional papers, that will cover up the syllabus of commerce section of 11th and 12th standards.

Definitely you are Eligible to apply for the Hotel Management course after graduation with minimum 50% of Marks.

As you have a B.Com graduates so you are eligible to study the Hotel Management course.

If you are interested to get in to the MBA in Hotel Management you must fulfils the below Requirements

>> One must have completed the Graduation with Minimum 50% of marks from a recognized university

>> There is a Relaxation for the SC/ST Category Students about 5% of marks

>> Final year student which have been pursuing the Graduation are also eligible to apply

If you fulfil these conditions then you are eligible to appear for entrance exams and after qualifying in the exam you can apply to any of the Hotel Management Colleges.
