MSc in Medical Microbiology is a postgraduate Microbiology course it is the study of medical microbiology that combines the spread of micro-organisms, disease causation, diagnosis etc… and the practical training in this diverse field.

M.Sc. Medical Microbiology Eligibility :

Applicant must have passed B.Sc. Degree in any branch of Life Sciences such as Physiology, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology and Chemistry.

Applicant must have secured minimum 55% (General category) in life Sciences subjects in B.Sc.


Applicant must have secured minimum 50% in aggregate(the reserved category (SC/ST)), in life Sciences subjects in B.Sc.


Ph.D in medical microbiology is Doctorate Microbiology course it includes the study of the typically includes the study of the immune system, or Immunology.

Ph.D. Microbiology Eligibility

Candidate should have a Masters degree in relative subject.

For some subjects doing a Masters in Philosophy (M.Phil.) is a prerequisite to start Ph.D.

So if you have a bachelor degree in the relevant subject you can do MSc in Medical Microbiology and if you have a master degree in the relevant subject you can do Ph.D in medical microbiology.
