As per your concern I will let you know English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad admission details so that you can get idea. Eligibility BA: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have completed Class 12 examination or its equivalent or will have passed the exam at the time of admission. MA: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have completed a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55 percent in any discipline or should be passing the exam at the time of admission. For foreign languages, they should have completed the Bachelors' degree in the language concerned or a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a certificate of B1 level proficiency equivalent to advanced diploma in the language concerned or should be pursuing any of the qualifying degrees. PhD: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have completed MA with a minimum of 55 percent in the corresponding field. Exam centres Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Shillong, Delhi, Mumbai, Vishakapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore Tentative dates The last date of receipt of applications 1st week February 2017 Date of Entrance Test Last week April 2017 Reservation For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) candidates 22.5% of seats in all Programmes will be reserved for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates in the following order: 15% for Scheduled Castes 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will be given relaxation to the extent of 5% in the aggregate of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. UGC-sponsored, remedial classes in English are organized for SC/ST students admitted to the various programmes. Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates On every programme, 27% of the intake is reserved for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates. In the case of OBC candidates, there is no relaxation of the qualifications required for admission.
