The English and Foreign Languages University has a facility for to providing film studies. Various faculties are teaching film studies courses.

EFLU was founded in 1958 as the Central Institute of English (CIE). It was renamed the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL) in 1972 with the addition of three major foreign languages.
