As an MBA summer consultant, one will be expected to immediately contribute to client engagements by leading the development of key project deliverables. Their responsibilities include supporting the growth of Edelman Consulting as a whole (e.g. knowledge management and new business development).

Qualification for MBA summer consultant
One year at an MBA or relevant program at a top-tier institution

2-4 years pre-graduate school at a top management consulting firm or similar experience

Experience solving business challenges related to marketing/communications

Entrepreneurial attitude, self-motivated style, comfort with ambiguity

Strong capacity for thinking both analytically and creatively

Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Demonstrated track record of being a strong team player

Proven ability to multi-task and operate under pressure or tight deadlines


Responsibilities for MBA summer consultant
Contribute to client projects by helping to develop hypotheses; conduct research and analysis; and generate creative, data-driven insights and recommendations

Conduct primary research through stakeholder interviews and focus groups, as well as qualitative and quantitative research using secondary sources
