The Denver University has some specific requirement to take admission in graduate courses. Candidates should bring in and present proof of bring in the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally qualified institution past to beginning graduate coursework at DU. Some doctoral programs also need a master’s degree or equivalent in order to be considered for admission. Contact your academic program, or see the program bulletin, for documentation requirements.

DU must receive record from every previously attended institution, including study abroad and college coursework completed in high school. All U.S. records should be official and received in the Office of Graduate Studies in a sealed envelope.

Records issued in a language other than English should be through by a certified English translation. Students who have receive a degree outside the U.S. must also submit proof of graduation, typically through a degree certificate or diploma. This estimate should be complete by the program’s stated deadline. Candidates with education diploma from outside of the U.S. are encouraged to apply early. DU’s writing requirement can differ for students with AP and IB credit, but all students start with a First-Year Seminar and then take the the same of WRIT 1122 and 1133.
