Delhi Technological University (DTU), some time ago known as Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is a chief government college situated in New Delhi, India. It is one of the most seasoned designing schools in India and Delhi's first building school.

It was built up in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic and was under the control of the Government of India. The school has been under the legislature of the National Capital Territory of Delhi since 1963 and was associated with the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. In 2009, the school was given state college status, in this manner changing its name to Delhi Technological University. Till the year 2009, DCE shared its confirmation methodology and syllabus for different B.E courses with there another branch known as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, formerly (DIT), of which were endorsed by Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi.
