Acoustics is a wide field that includes topics such as human perception of sound and auditory modelling, electroacoustic systems and audio coding, architectural acoustics, sound fields and vibration, and advanced acoustic measurement techniques.

M Sc programme Engineering Acoustics is ideal for B Sc graduates in engineering, physics or mathematics who have an interest in all these aspects of sound.

Requirements and programme provision

Requirements for students wishing to acquire the study line 'Acoustics':
• Have passed general competence courses adding up to at least 30 ECTS points
• Have passed technological specialization courses adding up to at least 30 ECTS points
• Have performed a master's thesis of at least 30 ECTS points within the field of Acoustics
• Have passed a sufficient number of elective courses to bring the total number of ECTS points of the entire study up to 120 ECTS points
