Re: Drug Inspector Qualifications

Drug Inspector investigate the hygiene habits and conditions of manufacturing and packaging personnel and posses all necessary licenses and permits.

To become a drug inspector one need to fulfil the eligibility criteria given below:

Eligibility Conditions:
Aspirants must complete graduation in Pharmacy(B.Pharma).
Graduates in medicine with microbiology specialisation can also apply for the exam.

Candidates must have minimum 3years of relevant work experience in manufacturing sector of pharma product is necessary to compete in the exam.

Exam Pattern:
The exam is conducted by state public service commission/UPSC.
The question paper comprises of following sections given below:
Current affairs
Mental ability
General Knowledge
Logical reasoning
One paper is purely technical aspects of drugs(subject paper) based on B.Pharma syllabus.
