DRDO SET (Defense Research Development Organization Scientist Entry Test (SET)) is conducted for recruitment of personnel to Group B scientist posts in DRDO.

Here I am giving you details of DRDO Scientist entry exam for Computer Science Students for post of Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’ (STA-‘B’).

Important Tentative Dates for DRDO SET:
DRDO SET Exam date: First week of September
Result Date: Month of November

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:
Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit:
• 18 to 28 Years

Educational Qualification:
Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’ (STA-’B'):

B. Sc degree or

Three year engineering in diploma in Agricultural Science, Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics, Geology, Instrumentation, Library Science, Mathematics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Microbiology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Photography, Physics, Printing, Psychology, Radiography, Surveyor, Textile, Tool Die & Moulding, Veterinary Science Zoology from recognized university or institute.

Medical Standards:
(i) Minimum height 165 cm without shoes (relaxation in height is admissible for candidates belonging to hilly and tribal areas as per government of India rules).

(ii) Chest should be well proportioned and 82 cm without expansion with minimum 5 cm expansion

(iii) Weight should be minimum 50 kg

(iv) Hearing – normal without aids

(v) Vision – vision must be 6/6 without aid. Each eye must have full field of vision and the candidate must be free from Night & Colour blindness.
