Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (DLJ) was built up in May 1959 to manage the issues identified with natural condition in abandon and their effect on leave fighting.

VISION

To wind up distinctly a focal point of greatness in Camouflage, Desert Sciences and Nuclear Radiation Management Technologies.

Camouflage Division


The Camouflage Division of Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur, is effectively occupied with the R&D on the Development of Materials and Technologies for Camouflage and Low-Observability. The concentration is towards Signature Management of Ground-based and Airborne Platforms.

The Materials Development movement of the Division has a solid innovative work concentrate on union and portrayal of cutting edge materials, and for the improvement and testing of Material Products for Camouflage and Stealth.

Nuclear Radiation Management and Application (NRMA)

NRMA Division is seeking after R and D in the field of radiation finders, dosimeters, measurements rate meters, region screens. Offices have been set up for the testing and alignment of radiation screens including thermo luminescent dosimeters based work force observing administrations. The offices have been made traceable with the accreditation by national bodies (NABL/BARC). Grouped instructional classes for military work force in Nuclear Defense and Radiological Safety are being directed. Researchers of DLJ speak to various National Committees identified with atomic protection/security.

Desert Environment Science and Technology (DEST)

DEST Division is occupied with the R&D in the fields of water, soil and warmth to upgrade the effectiveness of the troops working under cruel states of Desert. Fundamental and in addition connected research is being sought after prompting to improvement of advancements identified with water, warmth and landscape administration for military applications.
