Dr Yashwat Singh, Agriculture and Forestry University is located in the district of Solan in Himachal Pradesh, India. It was established on 1st December, 1985.

B.Sc Horticulture and Forestry course-

Admission to B.Sc. Horticulture (4 and 5 year) and B.Sc. Forestry (4 year) programs is done through an Objective Type Entrance Test.

85% seats in 4 year programs are reserved for domicile of Himachal Pradesh and are filled through Entrance Test conducted by the university.

The remaining 15% seats are filled through nomination by ICAR on the basis of All India Entrance Test conducted by ICAR New Delhi.

Eligibility-

Passed 10+2 with Science with 50% from recognized university.

How to Apply-

Prospectus cum application form shall be available in the Academic Section, Office of the Registrar on payment of Rs 1200/- in cash at counter (Rs 800/- in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates) or by sending bank draft worth Rs 1250/- (Rs 850/- in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates) drawn in favor of the Comptroller of the University payable at State Bank of Patiala, Nauni / U Co Bank Nauni.

The application form downloaded from the University website and accompanied with a bank draft worth Rs 1200/- (Rs 800/- in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates) is also accepted.
