Doon School is a boys-only boarding school in Dehradun in India which was founded in 1935. Doon follows the house system. When the school opened it had only three houses. Today there are five main houses (Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kashmir, Tata and Oberoi) and two holding houses (Foot and Martyn), where new students live for a year before moving to one of the main houses. For NRIs / Foreign Nationals the school fee is applicable as follows: Fee Type Amount (in INR) School Fees Rs. 8,65,000/- per annum Admission Fees Rs. 4,32,500/- (at the time of admission) (equal to one term's fee) Security Deposit Rs. 4,32,500/- (refundable) (equal to one term's fee) Advance for Incidentals Rs. 50,000/- per term. Fees are payable in two equal installments, in June and December. Bills for all other expenses incurred during the Spring Term are sent out by July and for the Autumn Term by the following January. Payments are expected within 21 days from the date of the bill. |
