When was the blood donation camp organized by NSS UNIT of the SRM University, give me there details? Where it was organized, and how many persons donate there blood in the blood donation camp of the SRM University?

Can you tell me if there is an option for admission in B Tech Program in SRM Institute of Science and Technology through Donation/ Direct Admission?

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, is a deemed university located in Kattankulathur, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India, near Chennai. It was founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology includes six campuses, three in Tamil Nadu — Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani, one in NCR Delhi, one in Sikkim and one in Amaravati.


Eligibility for B. Tech Programs (Duration: 4 years)

(a) Nationality and Age

Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India is eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).

NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who has not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under International student category only.

Should have attained the age of 16 + on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held (source).


(b) Qualifying Examination:

All B. Tech programmes:

Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM

(i) one who has passed in Higher secondary exam (10+2 pattern) or appearing in Higher Secondary exam in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS

One who has completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.

(ii) GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects (equivalent to Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any International schools within India

B.Tech:
i.) Biotechnology, ii.) Biotechnology with specialization in Genetic Engineering, iii.) Biotechnology with specialization in Regenerative Medicine, and iv.) Electronics and Communication with specialization in Biomedical Engineering Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM / PCB

(i) one who has passed in Higher secondary exam (10+2 pattern) or appearing in Higher Secondary exam in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS

(ii) GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as major subjects (equivalent to Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any International schools within India

Note: One who has passed the above qualifying exam in not more than 2 attempts including appearance for improvement will be considered for admission.

If one desirous of joining B. Tech Electronics and Communication with specialization in Biomedical Engineering has not studied Mathematics as a subject at +2 level exams, has to study a bridge course in Mathematics after taking admissions to 1st year of B. Tech.


(c) SRMJEEE (UG)

One who has attempted Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude in SRMJEEE (UG) is eligible for all the B. Tech Degree Programs

One who has attempted Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Aptitude in SRMJEEE (UG) is eligible for B. Tech Biotechnology and all its specializations and B. Tech Biomedical Engineering.


(d) Direct Admission
