Yes doing MCA through distance education is valuable.

Master of Computer Application (MCA) pursued either though distance learning mode or through regular classes, the program must be recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Distance mode is concerned, it is ideal for working professionals holding work experience.

Although sometimes measured to be the poorer cousin of regular college programmes, distance learning comes as a good thing to students who want to study further while continuing with jobs or who might not be able to attend a full-time course for various reasons.

Disadvantages of Studying through Distance Learning:

1.No Direct Contact with faculty

2.Overdependence on Technology

3.Lack of Discipline

4.It can get Lonely

5.Not All Courses are Available/ Taught

6.Not Valued by all Employers
