Distance Learning MBA from IGNOU Information Technology

I am planning to do MBA in IT distance learning from IGONOU. Can you tell me that IGNOU provides MBA in IT program or not?

IGNOU provides the following management programs:

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
Post-Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP)
Post-Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Research in Management (PGDTRM)

But IGNOU is not providing the MBA in IT program.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University, is a Distance Learning National University Located in IGNOU road, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, India.

It was Established in 1985 .

Distance Learning MBA offered by IGNOU, is one of the most “in Demand” distance learning courses in India

MBA Course Duration : 2 years


Eligibility ;

Candidates Should be a Graduate in any Discipline and must have 50% marks for Graduation if you are from general category.

For Reserved category, then you need to have only 45% marks for graduation. 3 Years managerial or supervisory experience is also required

Fee Details :

The total fee for the distance MBA program is : 31,500.

Total number of courses in the program= 21

The fee per course= 1,500

The total program fee = 1,500 x 21 = ₹ 31,500


For appearing in this MBA Entrance Exam, a student has to fill up Application Form for OPEN MAT Entrance Test .

IGNOU OPEN MAT Exam Syllabus :

OPENMAT consists of 200 objective types multiple choice to be completed in 3 hours composite time.



Exam Paper Consists of questions from the following topics:
