Directorate of Distance Education, Dibrugarh University, Assam was established in 2001, under Dibrugarh University, The main aim of the university is to provide post-graduate degree through the mode of distance education.

Courses Offered:

1) Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Major
Eligibility: Higher Secondary or a 10+2 level examination
Duration: 3 years,

2) Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.),
Eligibility: Higher Secondary or a 10+2 level examination in Commerce,
Duration: 3 years,

3) Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Eligibility: Higher Secondary or a 10+2 level examination,
Duration: 3 years,

4) Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
Eligibility: Higher Secondary or a 10+2 level examination,
Duration: 3 years,

5) Two-year M.A. /M.Com. /M.Sc. (Math) in Assamese, Economics, English, Political Science, Sociology, Education, Commerce and Mathematics.
Eligibility: Three Year Bachelor’s Degree

6) One-year Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

7) One -year Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication (PGDJMC)
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
