Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance works for Assuring all the Stakeholders Naming Students, Parents, Teachers, Staff, Funding Agencies And Society In General-of the Accountability of Institutions for their Own Quality and Probity.

DIQA operate its activities through two channels.

Functions :

To undertake intervention strategies for encouraging self-evaluation, accountability and continual improvement in all the systems and processes of the university for student and stakeholder satisfaction

To take steps for periodic assessment and accreditation of the university under NAAC and ISO 9001:2008 leading to continual improvement.

To collaborate with other institutions, governing bodies, private sector, government, alumni, civil society etc for improvement of Quality and brand image of the University

To establish quality benchmarks for the affiliated colleges and evolve mechanism for ensuring conformance to Quality

Conducting trainings, lectures, workshops, seminars, conferences, group discussions etc. for developing and enriching the intellectual capital of the University and civil society of Jammu region
