Difference Between PCS And IAS Exam
I have completed Graduation and want to appear in the civil service exam . I am confused between the IAS and PCS exam . Is there any difference between IAS and PCS exam ? Provide the IAS and PCS exam pattern and eligibility conditions .

Hey as IAS stands for " Indian administrative services".this exam is conducted by the UPSC by which one can get into the administrative departmental positions in the country. Job fields Indian foreign services Indian police services Indian forest services one can become as high as cabinet secretary. Eligibility Graduation from a recognised university. Any branch candidates can apply. Age should be b/w 21 to 30 . However, a relaxation of 5 years is there for SC/ST candidates 3 years for OBC. Maximum 5 years for Jammu and Kashmir candidates domiciled. PCS Stands for "Punjab civil services”. one can get into the Punjab’s administrate department by selecting through this exam Job fields DCP District commissioner SDM Eligibility Graduation is minimum Students in their final year are eligible in final year for preliminary exam. Age should be b/w 21 and 28 10 year relaxation for disabled |
