Hey as IAS stands for " Indian administrative services".this exam is conducted by the UPSC by which one can get into the administrative departmental positions in the country.

Job fields

Indian foreign services

Indian police services

Indian forest services

one can become as high as cabinet secretary.

Eligibility

Graduation from a recognised university.

Any branch candidates can apply.

Age should be b/w 21 to 30 .

However, a relaxation of 5 years is there for SC/ST candidates

3 years for OBC.

Maximum 5 years for Jammu and Kashmir candidates domiciled.

PCS Stands for "Punjab civil services”. one can get into the Punjab’s administrate department by selecting through this exam

Eligibility

Graduation is minimum

Students in their final year are eligible in final year for preliminary exam.

Age should be b/w 21 and 28

10 year relaxation for disabled
