Hello sir I am very much confused about taking admission in NIT or IIIT can you please tell me about the basic difference between the NIT and IIIT. Which one is better NIT or IIIT for taking admission and also which one is better in terms of Placements?

National Institute of Technology
The National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are autonomous public institutes of higher education, located in India. They are governed by the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007, which declared them as institutions of national importance alongside Indian Institutes of Technology.
