UGC (University Grants Commission of India) conducts NET exam NET: NET is the National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted for recruiting the eligible candidates to the post of lectureship in college & university level and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals. JRF- JRF is the Junior Research Fellowship (Rs. 16000/Month) offered by both CSIR & UGC to the selected candidates through written exams held twice a year as their Ph.D. stipend UGC offers a limited number of fellowships in all the disciplines like Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, etc In five science discipline like Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences This fellowship is provided through Joint CSIR-UGC-NET exam held by CSIR twice a year.
