Difference Between MBA And PGDM

Hi buddy can you plz tell me Difference Between MBA And PGDM, some people said both course are equal some say not , why ???

Yes we can consider MBA and PGDM equalant but it not completely right bcoz MBA is a PG degree opposite is PGDM is a diploma program issued by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) recognized institutions. Institutions and b-schools offering PGDM course are autonomous body with industry-oriented curriculum.

Here I am telling you differences between MBA and PGDM
MBA is offered by 'Universities' or 'Colleges that are affiliated to Universities' or Central Body directly under the Indian Govt while PGDM/PGP is offered by individual colleges and IIM's.

Fees is high in case of PGDM/PGP as compared to MMS/MBA.

PGDM is much more flexible in terms of syllabus as syllabus is not bounded by a particular university.

Ideally PGDM program is residential while MBA is not.

Examples of PGDM/PGP Institutes in India are-
IIMs ,
XLRI,
SP Jain,
NMIMS (Banglore/Hyderabad) etc.

Examples of MBA colleges in India are-
IIFT ,
JBIMS ,
FMS ,
NMIMS(Mumbai)
SIBM (Pune),
IITs etc.
