IBPS CWE (Officers) for RRBs
Officer Scale I - 18-28 yrs.
Officer Scale II - 21-32 yrs.
Officer Scale III - 21-40 yrs.

Degree in any discipline for General Banking Officers (50% for Scale II &III) & Degree / PG in a relevant subject for Specialist Officers as given in the notification.

Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification

Clerks

SBI/SBI Associate Banks Clerks
20-28 Years
Degree in any discipline from a recorgnised university or any equivalent qualification

IBPS CWE (Office Assistants) for RRBs
18-28 Years
Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent. Proficiency in local language is mandatory

CLERICAL APTITUDE
The questions in Clerical Aptitude will be set to test the candidate's perceptual accuracy and aptitude. This is the ability to notice similarities and difference between the pairs of names and numbers. Questions in Clerical Aptitude will also assess in addition to perceptual accuracy and aptitude, ability to handle office routine work like filing, abbreviating, indexing, etc.


DESCRIPTIVE WRITING
It intends to measure your higher order cognitive abilities as comprehending the situations, etc., and also your language ability. It is a question paper-cum-answer sheet in Hindi and English and the Regional Language and you have to restrict your answers to the space provided on the answer-sheet. Use of supplements is not allowed. You have the option to answer 3 out of 4 questions either in Hindi or in English or in the Regional Language. It includes Essay, Précis, Letter writing.

I am giving you the detail of the Bank clerk Jobs and also the profile of the Bank clerk


Job Profile


Clerks are the first one to visitors and customers to any PSB for the
Enquiries & guidance.



They have Back-office work

Receipts collection,

Ledger maintenance,

balance tally

Other transactions must be keyed in the computer systems after office hours.

clerks also have to take-up marketing of financial products of
bank such as loans, deposits, schemes to visitors.(see SBI clerks to do marketing)

Persons inside the withdrawal & deposit counters are of clerical grade.


Clerks are responsible for accepting payments, sanction withdrawals, verify cheques,
issue demand drafts & other banking related services to customers.

Eligibility


You should have Passed any degree (recently changed)

Age limit:

20 – 28 yrs

Proficiency in the local language

Computer certificate (depends on the recruitment)


Growth


They can become Officers.Promotions depends on performance of employees & interviews

Clerks have the opportunity to get promotions conducted once every 2 years
