Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC) has published recruitment notice for Department Of Science And Technology, detail are as follows :

Vacancy Details:
Total No of Posts: 18
Name of the Posts:
2. Scientist/ Senior Scientist: 11 Posts
3. Senior Scientist (Lateral Entry): 04 Posts
4. Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist: 03 Posts

Eligibility:
Applicants must possess M.Tech./M.E or equivalent recognized Post Graduation Degree in Structural Engineering/ Applied Mechanics/ Aerospace Engg./ Design Engineering or M.Tech./M.E. in Structural Engineering/ Applied Mechanics/ Aerospace Engg./ Design Engineering for S.No-1, M.Tech./M.E. in Structural Engineering/ Applied Mechanics/ Aerospace Engg./ Design Engineering for S.No-2, Ph.D (Engineering) in the broad discipline of Structural Engineering / Structural Mechanic for S.No-3 Posts with adequate experience.

Age Limit:
Applicants age should be 32 years for UR, 35 years for OBC, 37 for SC/ ST for Scientist, 42 years for UR, 40 years for OBC, 37 years for SC/ ST for Sr Scientist, 37 years for UR for Senior Scientist (Lateral Entry), 45 years for UR for Principal Scientist, 50 years for UR for Sr Principal Scientist Posts. Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.


Selection Process:
Selection will be based on candidates performance on interview.
