The University Of Punjab has a Department Of Pharmacy for offering courses in Pharmacy.

The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Panjab University is a premier institution of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in the country.

The institute was established in 1944 and settling to the present campus in Chandigarh at the foothills of Himachal.

This education led to the Bachelors degree in Pharmacy. The course of study was spreaded over three years.

After the creation of Pakistan, the Department of Pharmacy was re-established as an independent Department in the University of the Punjab, Allama Iqbal Campus, Lahore.
