At the Department of Global Agricultural Scienecs (GAS), Tokyo University they are committed to serve the global society with education and research for sustainable provision of foods, fibers and other ecosystem services.

Their programs are issue-oriented rather than technology-oriented, and are based on strong combination of expertise across boundaries of disciplines and nations.

The associated programs offered by professors from institutions outside the university give further breadth to our education and research.
