The Delhi University is a public central university located in Delhi, India. It was came into existence in the year 1922.

Aims and Objectives

(i) To promote mutual contact, a democratic ouflook and a spirit ofoneness among the students of the University of Delhi.

(ii) To promote the social, cultural and intellectual
development ofthe students ofthe Universityof Delhi.

(iii) To promote among lhe students of the University of Delhi a sense of service to the people and duty towards the State.

(iv) To promote harmonious relations among all sections of the University Community.

(v) To meet, discuss and make representations to the
University authorities on matters concerning common
Interests of the students
