Will you please tell me what is the eligibility for taking admission in to the LLM course of the Delhi University?

Delhi University offers LLM course. LLM is Master of Laws. It is an internationally recognized postgraduate law degree. Here I am giving you the detailed information about this course:

Admission Procedure:
Candidates who want to take admission into the LLM course need to clear the entrance exam, conducted by the university in order to get enrolled

Seats Availability:
LL.B. (1500),
LL.M (65); Increase: 54%,
LL.B (810), LL.M (35);
Total: LL.B - 2310, LL.M - 100 S
Supernumerary Seats for PH/CW/FN: LL.B - 301, LL.B – 08

Eligibility Criteria

LL.M Course:

For general category and other backward classes (OBC) candidates,

A three-year/five-year LLB degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or foreign university recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate

However, the cut off marks for admission of OBC candidates shall be upto 10% less than the marks notified for general candidates in the entrance test

The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) having a three year/five-year LLB degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or foreign University recognised as equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate i

Important Dates
Last date for submission of Application Form: 10th March to 18th April 2014
Date of LL.M Entrance Test: 15th June 2014 (Sunday at 10:00 a.m.)
Result of Entrance Tests: Expected within two weeks of the respective tests
Admissions by Counseling: 01st July 2014 to 08th Aug 2014
