Railway Protection Force is an authorized security force working under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. The main objective of RPF is protect railway passengers, passenger area and railway property of Railways of India.

RPF Exam Syllabus:

 Number Ranking.
 Directions.
 Arithmetical Reasoning.

 Blood Relations.
 Clocks & Calendars.

 Embedded Figures etc.

(B) General Knowledge:
 General Awareness – Railways.
 History & Culture.
 Indian Society.
 Indian Geography.
 Polity.
 Development Programmes.
 Economics.
 Ecology and Environment.
 Science and Technology.
 Current Affairs – National & International Importance.


(C) Arithmetic:
 Number System.
 Simplification.
 Decimal & Fractions.
 Profit and Loss.
 Percentages.
 Problems on Ages.
 Average.
 Ratio and Proportions.
 Mixtures & Allegations.
 HCF & LCM.
 Simple & Compound Interest.
 Time and Work.
 Time and Distance.
 Data Interpretation etc.

RPF Exam Pattern
 Written exam will be objective type.
 Time duration of the exam is 1 hours and 30 minutes.
 The exam is conducted for total 120 marks.
 There will be 120 questions asked from various subjects.
 There will be negative marking for every wrong answer will be applicable.
